Summary
Trapped beneath the unforgiving sands of the desert, Iruka fights against time, fear, and suffocation in a coffin that grows darker with every breath. Armed only with a flickering seal of hope and memories of those he loves, he must stay calm and conserve oxygen—before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Kakashi and his team race against the clock, unearthing grim discoveries with each passing hour. As the line between life and death narrows, one question looms: Will they reach Iruka before the sands claim him forever?

Summary
Whumptober Day 2: TRUST ISSUES| Role Reversal |
Iruka's last relationship ended with literally being stabbed in the back. The wound wasn't even fully healed before he jumped into another relationship with the enigma that was Kakashi Hatake. However, Iruka's issues will follow him into this new relationship as he realizes just how bad it was with Mizuki. As he (doesn't) deal with all that happened, he finds himself moving from the abused to the abuser.
In which Iruka is too traumatized for a new relationship and Kakashi is too inexperienced to understand.
No physical abuse, but emotional abuse. Iruka has a lot of trust issues and unresolved trauma. In a way he kinda whumps himself here. But not without cause.

How can he move on with his past life and come to terms with his new life while indentured to waste-lander Kakashi?
