Summary
Enver turned back and forth in front of the old, cracked mirror, too small to hold his entire frame at once, trying to examine his new uniform. He had finally risen high enough in rank to deserve to wear special attire. So far, it was the simplest one: a jacket and trousers made of rough black leather and a mask shaped like a demon's head, adorned here and there with plain steel inlays. But this still was a big step. Finally, he was recognized as worthy. Not just an expendable pawn that would perish in a dirty alleyway of the night city, and therefore not worth the time and money to sew a uniform for. But someone in whom they saw potential.
