Merlin and Gwaine are sleeping together. Gwaine is in love with Merlin, but for Merlin, it’s just sex. At this time, he’s unaware of gwaine’s feelings. Arthur is jealous. He confesses his love to Merlin. Merlin is confused on what to do. But eventually, he and Arthur get together. It’s implied that Gwaine leaves Camelot, heartbroken, never to return.
