Patroclus is dead.
Achilles feels like his world had just ended. No logic remains in the skies that crashed and burned in step with the Achaean ships. He lay on the earth, dirt in his hair and on his face, and suddenly it seemed easier to fight the gods than it was to continue living.
Death could not be cheated, but playing with Time was a different story. He offered his soul to the ones above. If he leaves this earth, it will be the first and last. As long as they bring him back to the beginning before things went wrong. In an unexpected turn of events, he wakes up to find himself under the roof of a foreign palace.
