The industrial piercing on his eyebrow seems to be new, not that Shane usually catalogues townsfolk accessories, but it looks punk and it suits him, with his leather jacket and fingerless gloves. It tugs at a part of Shane that he’d thought was dormant, too withered by depression and booze to care anymore.
Abruptly, he realizes he’s been staring for a beat too long. He clears his throat. “So, uh. What are you in for?”
