Summary
Wilbur was getting anxious.
The loud music of the party was deafening and the people there were getting rowdier. He knew it was only a matter of time until somebody made a noise complaint and cops came to break up the party.
That was only part of Wilbur’s anxieties.
A larger part of Wilbur’s worries lied with the man that wouldn’t stop staring at him.

Summary
The horse's iridescent purple blood flooded the pavement and soaked through Tommy's jeans, leaving stains that he knew wasn't going to come out no matter what he did. Tommy could dimly hear Dream ranting in the background about how he was going to get arrested and about how he wasn't going to get the premotion he had been working towards ever since he took in Tommy. But the only thing that had Tommy's undivided attention in that moment was the golden horn on the horse's forehead, it pulsed with light and energy and life, and Tommy couldn't control the impulse to touch it.
(Death of a Unicorn is one of my favorite movies and I firmly believe it deserves more recognition. I watched it last night and had a massive amount of brain rot)

Summary
The neighborhood that he lived in had a lot of bars, not that Tommy had been in any. Even the ones that don’t ask to see ID (which was a surprising amount) but now for some reason tonight he noticed them. Maybe it was because the bright neon lights were the only lights that he had seen that night that weren’t street lights (there was no moon or stars, it was too cloudy for that).
It also could have been the person that was stumbling around in the middle of the street.

Wilbur stopped running his hands through his hair and instead steepled his hands. “Techno,” he started, “I thought you said we were in the clear, how did this child get involved?”
“Fuck you motherfucker, I’m seventeen, I’m not a child.” Tommy snapped at Wilbur.
“I didn’t know he was following me,” Techno said slightly defensively. “I only knew he was there because he followed me out to the car.”
“I thought you were stealing bitch, forgive me for assuming when I saw you acting shifty as fuck.” Tommy hissed.
