At what point did a cry for help become selfish? He felt selfish the first time he asked Etho to help him in an hour of need such as this one. He felt selfish the second time as well. Bdubs always felt so selfish for needing help. So many other people had to deal with their own problems, and they never sought assistance, so why should he expect someone to help with his?
It really was selfish, asking for help.
So he wouldn't.

He even wrote out a text that he scheduled to have sent to Etho the next day at noon, when it would be too late for Etho to do anything to stop him. He had everything planned except how it would end.
