Summary
“Ah, I missed you so much,” Jing Yuan tells. He holds Ren just like that. Ren can’t help his moans.
Jing Yuan isn’t taking him slow or gentle, he’s taking him fast and hard and rough. Ren is positioned in the middle with Yanqing in front of him and Jing Yuan behind him. Yanqing looks happy about it, with a smile crossing his face, as if he’s happy that he can have Ren. It’s kind of precious to look at.

Summary

Unlike Jing Yuan, Ren isn’t one to say the three words out loud to him. At least, not in the present. He has stopped saying such a thing but Jing Yuan deserves to hear them and Ren wants to tell Jing Yuan, too. It’s always Jing Yuan who does, it should be Ren’s turn.

Summary
Jing Yuan noticed the way Yingxing would perk up every time Dan Feng was around. It never failed to irritate Jing Yuan or he was just being pathetic and wanting Yingxing to be happy when he’s with him, too. He tried his best not to think about it too much.
Sometimes he would tease Yingxing about liking Dan Feng, whispering to Yingxing those questions of: “Do you like him?”, “Are you that happy to see him?”, “You like him, don’t you?” and he would see the crimson blush on Yingxing’s face and Yingxing would even call him annoying and then tell him to stop.
The answer was obvious, even without Yingxing giving one. Jing Yuan figured he was right. Yingxing did. He wished Yingxing didn’t. Perhaps that’s also why he went to ask such questions, hoping to see that Yingxing didn’t when the truth was, Yingxing really did.
Jing Yuan could only pretend he wasn’t hurt.
What hurt more, though, was witnessing the two got together.

Jing Yuan seems to have caught up at the fact that Ren is referring to his scars and Ren sees Jing Yuan’s eyes close when a tiny chuckle escaped his lips, as though it was silly of Ren to ask such a thing and he found it funny enough for him to laugh about it. Ren wishes Jing Yuan would take things seriously when he is supposed to. “What are you going on about now?”
He opens his eyes back and travels his other hand to Ren’s body, sliding his fingers down the scars, and he stares at them with all the adoration in the world. It kind of tickles but the pleasure of Jing Yuan’s touch outweighs the feeling at the same time then Jing Yuan rests his fingers once he reaches Ren’s abdomen. He locks their gaze, has their forehead touched, and his smile returns.
“Your scars show me you’ve gone through so much, you’ve been so strong, and that’s so beautiful, Ren. You are so beautiful.”
Ren doesn’t know what to say.

“That won’t happen.” Jing Yuan’s reply was immediate. “Ren, I will never leave you.”
Ren wants to believe Jing Yuan. He really does. That would make things a lot easier. They would be done with their conversation if he did. He just wishes he could.
Jing Yuan blinks. He seems confused. “What’s with you all of a sudden?”
“I just thought maybe you would leave like Yinyue-Jun did,” Ren murmurs.

Summary
The silence was there again, but a little longer than the previous one. Jing Yuan took it as Dan Feng contemplating things over. “...Jing Yuan, when I’m gone, would you look after him for me?”
Jing Yuan clenched his fist. A part of him was still furious at Dan Feng, but another part of him felt bad towards him, too, considering that Dan Feng wasn’t just anyone but a friend as well. Yet Dan Feng was still wrong, Jing Yuan couldn’t really sympathize with him much. “You don’t have to tell me that, I would even if you didn’t ask.”
“Then… that’s a promise.”
Jing Yuan kept that promise.
And in the days without Dan Feng, Ren finally reciprocated Jing Yuan’s feelings. It took a while, but it was worth the wait. Though Jing Yuan doubted that Ren would ever reciprocate his feelings if Dan Feng was around and sometimes he felt awful to be glad over the fact that Dan Feng wasn’t when he knew he shouldn’t. Now Dan Feng has returned as a new person.
