After unknowingly trapping himself on Earth-42 with no way home, Miles gets captured by the still-living Aaron and the Prowler - or rather, himself - of this dimension. But this time, there's a third person keeping an eye on him in the room where he's being held hostage.
Now Miles finds himself being taken in by a group of anomalies from other dimensions, Spiders just like him who tried to break free of their canons and do things the way they thought it should go. With the threat of the Spider Society, The Spot, and now potentially the Band lurking just outside Earth-42's dimensional boundary, Miles has to make a harsh choice.
Trust the anomalies, trapped here for the very same reason the Society is hunting him down, and settle into something vaguely resembling safety? Or keep fighting to do what he knows is right, to free himself of this new prison, and take a leap of faith once more?

Summary
Evan Afton and his family have been reunited under strange circumstances, forty years after the beginning of the end, but he's not particularly prone to caring about that part. So long as people stay out of his way and out of his space, he's perfectly fine to hide away in his room for the rest of eternity with the nightmares if he so chooses. It's not like there's anyone in the house he particulalry wants to talk to, after all.
Besides, the animatronics have proven to be a more comfortable family unit over the past ten years than his actual family ever was.
(Crackfic about what if Evan and the nightmares became found family at some point, and after living in the new Afton house for a while, Elizabeth eventually meets them. Everybody loses at UNO. Someone gets smacked in the face. Michael pops in for thirty seconds to announce he's going to work. All is well in the Afton family i guess)

Summary
Evan decides that the nightmare animatronics deserve to have physical forms too, like a lot of the more haunting animatronics among the roster are getting lately. He enlists Michael's help in this endeavour, who is rather concerned, but apparently fine with this.
OR: Evan and Michael reluctant sibling bonding time, the nightmares are weirded out for the fic's duration, and William is a shitty dad. Go figure.
Double OR: people on my last fic convinced me to write more for this particular AU that's been sitting dormant in my brain for the better part of 8 or 9 years, so for your sakes i'm turning this into a series of shorter fics. Congrats, you got me to bite and now i'm stuck on the hook.

Sebastian Solace has an airtight plan to get out of the Hadal Blacksite. Secure all the documentation of Urbanshade's shittiness in transportation crates, get p.AI.nter, and get to the dock in time for the rescue submarine to take them both home.
There's just one problem. Or twelve, depending on how many problems you'd consider a random kid running around the Blacksite to be.
OR: Sebastian Solace has morals, and they unfortunately decide to betray him. Chaos ensues.

As of July 29th: I'll start updating this again, and will be removing the currently posted Chapter 17 from the rotation. I think enough time has passed and enough bullshit has gone through the system for me to warrant the removal, and I will continue once I get around to it!

So what's the solution? Get married so that the legal documentation of this orphan's new last name is correct, obviously!
