The Blacksite Lockdown has been ongoing for months with no end in sight. Urbanshade is getting desperate and reckless, and the Expendable (you!) faces the consequences. Meanwhile, Sebastian and the_p.AI.nter are inching towards salvation through Innovation Inc. when they find the Expendable curled up and unrecognizable. Sebastian takes the them in with a deal, making them work for the safety and freedom he promises. Now that Sebastian has someone new to look after, someone unfamiliar with their new and painful body, the stakes are raised as he chases freedom from Urbanshade.

You're nearly done with your studies to become a Marine Biologist and are suddenly met with a grand opportunity to intern at a well-known aquatic research organization. However, things don't go exactly as planned, and suddenly you find yourself thrown into a massive ethical dilemma in which you try to expose the organization Urbanshade for its wrongdoings. Before you're able to escape with your findings, you're caught and thrown into the horrific and deadly deep parts of the facility, left with nothing more than the oxygen tank on your back and a small bag for storing materials.

Hellen Quiddly never once considered themself a thief or a criminal, only a teenager trying to make sure both their younger sister and themself simply lived to see the next day. So they were startled to have been caught stealing food from a grocery store so the two siblings could simply have dinner to eat.
But now here they were, in court for theft. And the punishment was severely unnecessary. A death sentence because they simply tried to keep both their younger sister and themself alive. Giving a death sentence to a fourteen year old was WAY past unnecessary.
But when a company called Urbanshade offered to save them from the electric chair, with the catch that they sign a contract and let the company do research on them, how could Hellen let the opportunity slip up?
But now...they really think they would've preferred death over what this company would do to them.

It doesn't help that your only 'allies' are two creatures who also don't seem thrilled with you around. But you have to survive, you must. It seems like your allies are also trapped down here, just like you. Maybe, all three of you can escape this hell together, but that means befriending them first, if you even can.
