So, what now? You can't leave. The lockdown protocol stops all personnel and all experiments from escaping.
Oh well... It's not like you had a life to continue living outside of the deep-sea building. There was no room in the world for someone who looked like you.
Humans can't even handle skin tones, they'd be terrified of the abomination you have become.

Summary
The Blacksite Lockdown has been ongoing for months with no end in sight. Urbanshade is getting desperate and reckless, and the Expendable (you!) faces the consequences. Meanwhile, Sebastian and the_p.AI.nter are inching towards salvation through Innovation Inc. when they find the Expendable curled up and unrecognizable. Sebastian takes the them in with a deal, making them work for the safety and freedom he promises. Now that Sebastian has someone new to look after, someone unfamiliar with their new and painful body, the stakes are raised as he chases freedom from Urbanshade.

Summary

However, things don't go exactly as planned, and suddenly you find yourself thrown into a massive ethical dilemma in which you try to expose the organization Urbanshade for its wrongdoings. Before you're able to escape with your findings, you're caught and thrown into the horrific and deadly deep parts of the facility, left with nothing more than the oxygen tank on your back and a small bag for storing materials.

* Commented Chapter 5Yep, this is definitely inspired by Slay the Princess. It isn't really obvious outright if one never played or watched a playthrough of the game but it gets visible if you're familiar. That being said, Pressure is a game that really mixes well with Slay the Princess because of the subtle changes in each repetitive loop/cycle/route/playthrough, so this fic utilizing such element is so cool!

Summary
Death upon death, teammates flesh torn and swallow by large beasts that rampage throughout the ever changing hedal blacksite.
This run weighed heavily upon your shoulders, you tried over and over to be helpful only to be met with snide remarks from criminals with more blood under their nails then you, true hateful and evil humans you've come to learn. Willing to do anything to escape this loop of death and failure, I guess that's how it happened a slow build of insanity picking you as the hollow victim bleeding against concrete among others who befell your murderous teammate. Hoping this death will be your last a faint muffled cry tears through the silence; a childs wail from a nearby room as footsteps fade further into the facility towards the source of the noise. Panic overrides the welling cold spreading over your limbs, the room swallowed in darkness no longer on solid ground a coin sits inches away. Silver glinting a skull catches your attention etched onto the coin, not yours yet you reach you grasp and it burns.
The ground seems to rumble as a scream rips from you, echoing as darkness swallows you whole; your only focus the sound of the crying and flesh ripping between fingertips. For now, at least.-

It felt like the Lord himself had turned away as Sebastian suffered. He spent his days surrounded by needles and gloved hands and his nights awake sobbing. The bright lights on the ceiling never turned off.

It's been half a year since Hadel Blacksite has gone on lockdown.
Urbanshade sends in one last EXR-P team into Hadal Blacksite to retrieve their Crystal. Naturally, they die at the hands of the monsters inside that hellish place...all except for one.
Riley Park, a woman who has barely said a word since her sentencing, is somehow the last survivor trapped inside the facility. Desperate for the pardon promised to her by Urbanshade, she's determined to survive and win her freedom.
Sebastian Solace won't stop at nothing until he's brought Urbanshade down. At least, that's what he thought, until he comes across an Expendable who's different from all the ones before her. Finding himself allured to her, he decides to make her a temporary offer he hopes she won't refuse.
In a place where death is around every corner, what shame is there in engaging in a little thrill to feel alive for a while?

That's the only reason he signed up in the first place. But does he really want that anymore, now that him and The Saboteur have grown so close?

Little did you know, that company would be your demise, your repeated demise. Dying over and over again, only to send you back down to the deepest part of hell, filled with creatures and nightmares that would make H.P. Lovecraft thrilled. It doesn't help that your only 'allies' are two creatures who also don't seem thrilled with you around. But you have to survive, you must. It seems like your allies are also trapped down here, just like you. Maybe, all three of you can escape this hell together, but that means befriending them first, if you even can.
