Summary
Shane and Ilya get arrested hours after Team Canada wins the World Junior Championship. From one day to the next, their lives are flipped upside down. As prisoners – er, incarcerated persons –, they are no longer climbing the hockey social ladder. They are no longer rival captains and star hockey players bearing responsibility for their nations’ and their future MLH teams’ hopes. They are nothing more than cellmates awaiting trial, caught in a tedious cycle of empty days where privacy is a distant memory. However will they pass the time?
Good thing they have each other. Now if only they could be honest about their feelings... Ideally, before they're released and face the legal and professional consequences of their venture into crime.

Paramilitary summer camp AU, where Shane Hollander has a stick very far up his ass (not a joystick, thank you very much). He is on track to become the Leadership final boss. He always spit shines his boots, never fails to iron his uniform, and has not once stepped on the Queen's lawn.
As a glider pilot trainee, Ilya is the polar opposite. He's arrogant to a fault and has never met a rule he did not want to break. He is adamant that leadership training is for losers. Of course, Ilya himself is the pinnacle of badassery.
If you asked Ilya, he'd say Hollander is a goodie two shoes with 0 chill. If you asked Shane, he'd say Rozanov is intolerable. And yet...
In a homophobic environment where 'fraternization' (any 'inappropriate' physical or sexual contact) gets you kicked out and may very well ruin your career prospects, there's a whole lot of tension with nowhere to go... Except, apparently, into slow dancing with each other. No homo though!
