I wrote this and posted it in like a couple hours just cuz I really wanted to update this series so don’t judge it too hard please.
Originally thinking, Jack was the softer of the two parents on Jesse, and he definitely is. but I’m kinda in love with this idea that he’s the tryhard dad. Like Jack tries to act laid back and chill, but it doesn't quite work as he’s always putting a lot of work into connecting with Jesse who gives him the most backlash really.
I have a ridiculous hoard of ideas and undercooked fics centered around Gabe And Jesse, so this one’s gonna be mainly about Jack and Jesse. Hope y'all like it and how I've developed Jack's character as much as I enjoyed writing it. And, if not, don't worry more mainly Gabe and Jesse coming soon. I'm unsure of how to explain this one, but I hope y'all will still give it a shot.Series

So I decided to create an adopted AU and make it into a series (thanks to a lovely suggestion in the comments) where Gabriel Reyes who's married to Jack Morrison decides to adopt Jesse McCree. It's gonna be highly Jesse-centric since a surprising amount of you also enjoy that (thank you). The first installment is basically Jesse and Gabe arguing because Jesse can't understand why anybody would want to adopt a trouble-making, angry 16/17 year old.

Hanzo learns that McCree has a human "family" when they come into their shared territory to visit McCree. After watching them interact, Hanzo is intrigued by the humans interacting and by McCree's behavior around them. When they leave, he demands that McCree show him human courtship behaviors. Perhaps courting the rattlesnake naga by the ways of Hanzo's people wasn't the way to go--perhaps courting McCree the way that humans courted would get better results.

Winston's parents sent him to the Eldritch Academy - who even names a school Eldritch anyway? - to learn; they did not send him there to sneak around in the old, abandoned sewer tunnels after hours. If Professor Reyes or Professor Morrison found out, he was dead meat. If Professor Amari noticed, he would be in less trouble but the point still stood. Nevertheless, the factory at the end of the tunnels had such cool scrap that would be great for his experiments and invention so he had to go. It was practically calling to him.
He didn't expect to accidentally turn on a super computer with a Virtual World inside it called Overwatch. He definitely didn't expect to find two AI at war in it. Especially since one of them, Athena, was damage and couldn't remember much beyond her own name until she reintergrated with the systems properly (and that was pretty hard since everything in Overwatch was trying to kill her). And she might as well be the only thing that stood between the world and the rogue firewall AI, Talon.
Now all he had to do was find a way to get Athena out of the computer and then turn it off. No biggie.
