Living in a world of oppression and decay, Berach couldn't just stand by. Alrest was dying and yet imperialism was throttling everything good that still existed. No one would stop him or the Forevermore Roots. Not the Special Inquisitor of Mor Ardain, not the Prince of Tantal, not the worthless remnants of Torna....and certainly not the Aegises, those traitors to life.
Follow Berach, and his comrades, as they encounter the heroes and villains of Alrest, and become a threat that can rival them all....though perhaps an old friend can settle his wrathful soul before he goes down a path he cannot escape from.
