Anne was born in a world already conquered by monsters. Spending almost her whole childhood in the bunker, her parents would tell stories about reality filled by peace. Maybe that was why an idea of becoming a pilot was born in her mind at age twelve. She managed to do that at age eighteen with two of her best friends at her side. At age twenty-one, a tragedy struck and demons of the past hadn’t let go since. Now she's twenty-three and really wishes things would be easier. It’s not that possible – especially that humanity seems to finally start losing that war.

A small girl writhes on a coral throne, her dark hair plastered to her forehead with sweat. Massive glowing eyes loom behind her, waiting for what is to come. Their pulsating orange light illuminates a dark helmet as it descends from above. The girl thrashes even harder against her restraints as she whimpers with fear. She glances wildly around the room, finally settling on the two newts—her saviors—that stand, unmoving, in front of her. Her eyes plead for them to help, but they can only watch, mouths gaping, as the helmet clicks into place on her head. The girl’s yelps are suddenly cut off by a deafening silence. Then, the screaming starts.
