Tommy dug out his phone to show Ranboo and Tubbo some blurry pictures taken in the dark of what looked like classic zombies.
“Tommy, that's just from a movie,” Tubbo said.
He flipped to a picture of a skeleton.
Tubbo raised an eyebrow. “Tommy, have you ever been to science class? Those things exist within the school building.”
Tommy insisted, shaking his head, “No, no the post said the skeletons moved. And look—“
He flipped to a picture of a tall black figure with purple eyes.
“Tommy, none of these are real,” Ranboo exclaimed, forcing Tommy’s phone on the table, “okay?”

“Ouch. What about?” Bucky asks.
“I’ve got no fucking clue. I’ve got until Friday to come up with an idea.” He yanks his calendar out of one of his drawers. Each month features a different supernatural creature with January’s as a ghost, helpfully depicted with a white sheet as though ghosts look anything like that. He blinks at it for a long time, the beginnings of an idea stirring in his mind.
He glances up and over at Bucky’s desk where a small bobblehead of a similar-looking ghost sits next to the computer. Bucky had gotten it at the haunted house that someone had dragged them to years ago as a souvenir of “the stupidest thing I’ve ever been forced to go to.”
“What’s that look for?” Bucky asks curiously. “I know that one. You’ve got an idea, so what is it?”
“Bucky, do you believe in ghosts?” he asks.
Bucky snorts, “Fuck no.” Then, a small crease in his brow appears. “Why do you ask?”
