Day 8: Unlikely Connections
He knew Error and Ink were inside; all three Outcodes had promised to spend time together to ease Blue’s worries. They didn’t want him to cancel his plans with his family. Also, he could hear the two arguing from outside.
He kept his sedate pace despite the yelling and crashing, taking time to fix their fallen-over mailbox that only Blue ever used.
Another crash had him sighing to himself as he moved to enter. There weren’t any blasters going off, so he figured they couldn’t be killing one another yet.
As soon as he pushed the door open he knew he should have made plans with someone else. Anyone else.
There was food everywhere. Not as if they’d been cooking or baking so much that they ran out of counter space. It was in clumps and piles as if thrown. Even their little potted tree, affectionately named Flower, hadn’t been spared.
The culprits were just out of view, but perfectly within earshot.
“I fucking told you not to put it in the microwave!” Error yelled.
His voice glitched the way it always did when he was stressed.
Ink groaned, “How was I supposed to know it was going to explode?”

Boredom and curiosity are both great motivators. For as long as you can (hardly) remember, you've been reluctant to traverse the AU's. Being an outcode, you had the ability to. However, you're aware of the "storylines" that the AU's have, as explained by your first and only friend, Ink. You happened to be out and about to take a breather when you bumped into the Guardian of AU's. Being the only person you've ever interacted with, you quickly became friends. Albeit he pushed that title on you when he found out you were an artist like him. As enthralled as you both were to learn about each other, he himself was a busy skeleton. A promise was born from then on. Every month, you'd leave the sanctity of your home and he'd take some time off to visit you. Over the course of time, you manage to discover quite a lot about him. Not enough to satisfy you. You felt as if there was still crucial information about himself he caged away, never letting it slip through the cracks. What a mystery he is. You want that to change. But how exactly would you get closer to him? You just need a chance, an opening. To open the floodgates and break open the barriers, to see what skeletons he's got hiding in his closet.

He gasped for air, each breath a ragged, broken thing as his wounds throbbed with searing pain, crying out for mercy. His body, heavy with fatigue, ached to give in, to let the darkness consume him. But he couldn’t—he wouldn’t. Not when everything was on the line.
Not when there’s so much left at stake.
He needs to save them.
He needs to save him.
He needs to see him again—just once more. To fix what’s been shattered, to reach out through the wreckage and pull his brother back from the darkness that’s consumed him.

Error, the God of Destruction suddenly felt like they had awakened one day, for the longest time their mind had been on limbo, empty, nothingness. They’d forgotten who they were or their role, having been isolated for…who knows how long. They only had the voices in the white space surrounding them, otherwise known as the Anti-Void annnddd..lets just say they definitely weren’t the nicest, but they didn’t care all that much, they found comfort in them. Error, cared not about destroying universes, unlike the voices that so INSISTENTLY whined about him NEEDING to do so, eventually, one day, they decide to try it, to hush them up a bit. Catapulting themself into the biggest worst and best mistake they ever made as what happened as a result was…something..alright.. Wanna find out more? Why not give the story a try? May not be everyone’s taste but it’s a good way to pass the time.
