Stan accidentally becomes a selkie. That's it. That's the plot.

Stan meets an old woman in New Mexico. She's nice, makes him food and tea. They talk. She gives him her fancy seal coat and sends him on his way.
He leaves town and decides to wear the coat when it gets a little chilly one night and in the morning, he's not himself anymore.
He storms back to town to figure out what's going on, and she's dead.
Now he has to figure this out by himself.
Violence warning MOSTLY for eating animals
