But Stiles wasn’t running for his life. His life was of little consequence to himself right now. The thought of the enemies he was about to face alone was more comforting than frightening. He was glad to know failure would most definitely end in his death. Because if he failed in this, he would lose that which gave him the will to live. So with false confidence, Stile strode into the harsh light and out from the shadows.Aka part 2 of my Twilight rewrite but Sterek. New Moon addition. Featuring Stiles being left by Derek because of plot reasons plenty of angst NO love triangle. I took New Moon and gave it my own twist to fit these two.

William Willson had never given much thought to how he'd die— though he'd had reason enough in the past few weeks— but even if he had, he would never have imagined it like this.
He stared without breathing across the long room, into the dark eyes of the hunter, and he looked pleasantly back at him. Surely it was a good way to die, in place of someone else, someone he loved. Noble even. That ought to count for something.
Will knew that if he'd never gone to Nevermore, he wouldn't be facing death right now. But, terrified as he was, he couldn't bring himself to regret that decision. When life offers you a dream so far beyond any of your expectations, it's not reasonable to grieve when it comes to an end.
The hunter smiled in a friendly way as he sauntered forward to kill him.

Anyone who thought that moving to a remote town at the furthest corner of Washington would give them privacy was in for an uncomfortable surprise. Private was the last thing that small towns could be called. In the fresh, unpolluted country air that cleared your lungs and eased your breathing, nothing festered quite like secrets. And the stench that would rise from the secrets buried by Wei Ying and Mo Xuanyu would be enough to turn the heads of even the least nosy of folks.

Even from far away, the elf was beautiful. Golden hair, long tanned ears, a pastel color palette to his clothes that Kravitz, frankly, was surprised to be into. He couldn’t measure the exact slope of the elf’s nose or the color of his eyes from here, but wow. He was gay.
Kravitz shook his head, he really didn’t have time to wonder about beautiful, sparkling elves. The sky was mostly grey out, but the whole group had had… the barest glimmer about them. Maybe they just hit the highlighter too hard, but honestly, Kravitz could get into it.
