When Aquamarine captures Steven, Pearl manages to get on the ship and rescue Lars - but gets poofed, and Steven brings her to the trial in his hands. She's able to put herself together just in time, and tells the diamonds the truth.
Steven spends 7 years on Homeworld, becoming the new Pink Diamond. Eventually he comes back to Earth to fix the corrupted gems, or so he says.
Now the Crystal Gems have to figure out where their relationship with Steven stands, and what Homeworld wants from them.

Disguising herself finding nothing at first until she was attacked by a corrupted gem. Poofed but not entirely corrupted her gem left cracked, until she reformed having lost her memory. With her personality now being a kinder opposite of what it was before, pink pearl stayed by her side.
The mind control having been somewhat disabled with her regaining control but still having an unknown urge to follow white. For a couple hundred years white wandered earth gaining a slow appreciation for the life it yelied. Until she was found by rose who while not recognizing her decided to heal her gem, and gave her the new name moonstone. Homeworld meanwhile was left to pick up the pieces in whites absence, her fate left unknown to them as time passed

Well, well, what do we have here?” The woman had stopped right in front of me and was just staring down at me, the shadows crawling across her form didn’t make me think of her as any less beautiful. “A weak, little human.” Right after that comment I was yanked up by the arm, the stranger's hand covered my arm and then some, without any issue.
