Summary
Follows Inquistor Lavellan, who has begun to befriend the resident elvhen apostate. They find some sense of kinship and comfort in one another, despite constantly dancing around any true sense of openness. She struggles with the title of Inquisitor and everything it entails, as well as the nightmares which have haunted her since childhood.
Solas becomes increasingly intrigued by the brooding, grouchy woman, and she in turn is curious about the ever polite and clever dream-walker. Slowly, their friendship shifts into something else.

Eden’s temper often got the better of them, harsh words rolling off their tongue entirely too easily. They always regretted it immediately after, seeing how their words hurt others. The nasty things they would say just spilled out of them, poisoning the people they loved. The rage that festered inside Eden scared them.
