Ezio remembers that Leonardo had asked him to buy that wooden doll in the Venetian market the day they arrived to the new city. Not wanting to disappoint his friend, Ezio goes back to buy it later that day, only finding that the merchant had sold out. To make it right, Ezio tracks down the last person to buy one, only to find that the artists of Venezia are in some trouble. A greedy patron is loaning poor artists money, only to force them to owe much more than they make, keeping the artists under his thumb. Knowing what he knows, Ezio decides to do something about it.
