His wife found out about the emotional affair, and got him sent to Earth and trapped him under the guise of a mission, as to not let it ruin her reputation if it got out.
When you found out, you killed her, and was sentenced to the same fate.
You spent hundreds of years tirelessly searching for him on Earth, before finding yourself in a sleepy town in upstate New York.
When you entered that hotel, you didn’t expect to see him in the body of a human child.

Summary
The catholic priest Ben had called upon to exorcise the Assyrian demons finally shows up, albeit with his heart set on exorcising the wrong demon. When the Freelings fight to save their favorite hell prince, Abaddon is put in a position where mortality might be his only way to stick around in a life he’s now grown quite comfortable with.
Mortality comes with its own trials, tribulations, and experiences though—most notably, sharing not only body but mind with the vessel.
Though the shift is jarring and initially unwelcome, the change in perspective helps Abaddon see the Freeling’s through a different, more earthly lens.
The hardest part of being mortal, however, might just end up being what *hasn’t* changed.—> author has been hit by the curse, update soon. Sorry gang

Summary
After the events with Abaddon and his acolytes, there is still a gnawing feeling inside Abaddon that won't let up. A feeling that he hasn't felt in over three hundred years.
But on top of that, he feels the impending doom of the mortal Freeling family and Nathan who will eventually move on as well. When they die, he does not know what he will do with himself for continuing to live in his mortal shell is obviously starting to become even more of a hindrance. So he asks Esther to help him age and let this mortal shell die off with old age with the rest of the family.
This task is, of course, is not an easy one and leads to skeletons in Abaddon millennium long closet start to resurface. From supposedly long dead fathers, vengeful angels and a past blip with a grudge, the Freeling family have a lot to get through to keep their imperfect family.

Summary
When Nathan finds a rather living someone stuck within his grounds, he finds it hard to turn away. To take on a ghost ridden hotel is one thing; to find some demon in the body of some achronistic child is another. Even though Nathan didn’t exactly know that when he found the little guy. He couldn't just leave him; Nathan had to help him out.
Abaddon could do without the human’s care, however, the mortal continues to attempt to “get to know him” and placate him with food and trinkets. Even if demeaning, Abaddon would not turn down the opportunity to wreak havoc. The reverence to his stature was appreciated, despite the caveats.
Things get better. Things get worse. Nothing ever stays the same.

He almost doesn't notice the hole in the ground, lost in his thoughts as he is. It's deep, and looks out of place in the forest. More importantly, there's a child in the hole. A very small child, from the looks of it. The child themself looks gaunt and deathly pale, the strange clothes practically hanging off their stick-thin frame.
Nathan crouches down, concern etching itself onto his features. He's barely in the right head-space to look after himself at the moment, let alone anything else, but he can't just leave the poor kid there.
"You ok there, kid? I'm Nathan."OR
Abaddon is not a demon, but a human child raised in a cult, until he's abandoned and found by Nathan. Father-son bonding and healing ensues. Come get it while it's hot!

So in this story, the vessel (who is Will) takes control of the body sometimes because is his body and he still has some control over it and Abaddon hates it. Him and Will both fight over this. Abaddon can communicate with Will and even see him at times. They don't get along. The only thing Abaddon can think of to get the vessel out of the body is trying to like- damage the body enough or something of that sort. The others try to figure out what's happening with him to help him but he won't tell them because he thinks it makes me look weak. Yk, stuff like that ^^

But the boy stood still, head turned, staring at the front desk. His eyes were squinted with suspicion. The flicked between the man, to Katherine who realised he was staring and returned the eye contact with a confused expression.
