Their heart hammers a frantic, solitary rhythm against their ribs, a drumbeat of dread completely separate from the crowd's carefree pulse.
As their anxiety spirals out of control, they find themself unable to participate, trapped on the sidelines as the sole sentry in a world without respawns. I mean, how can you learn to relax when you’re the only one who sees the danger in every moment of joy?

this happens every season because mephone made different designs for each contestant and once they also got generated with the rest of the adults so mephone assumed they signed up for it (lost memory after all)
