Summary
A tragedy, striking thousands upon thousands upon thousands. One of the strongest, known for her gloved hands and arsenal of constantly changing fighting styles laid with the thousands. A man clad in black, donning those same gloves she used, stared at the corpse of the dead musician. Ending the tragedy before it could strike numbers going up to the millions.
The man looked away for a second and then left the area.
The funeral was naught but a grave, for the corpse of his beloved was torn to shreds so much he could never hope to identify the soul inhabiting the vessel, albeit her white hair giving it away.
What was he to do now?
Should he go on a massacre, demonstrate his boiling rage to the City that has wronged him oh so much?
...Or should he search for a new life, in hopes of becoming better, stronger and to protect anyone he deems protection is necessary?
After mere hours of pondering, he decided to wander. To, perhaps, find a new home elsewhere. -

He’d seen him discipline his underlings, reinforcing the fact that the rules of The Thumb should be upheld and that hierarchy is absolute. Maybe it was a case of favoritism, but Allen knew that it wasn’t that simple. But again, he should feel thankful Boris decided to help him...right?
Late in the night at an ungodly hour, Allen finds himself in the middle of rain injured and out of breath. And just as he was about to pass out, a familiar face comes to lend a helping hand.

Summary
Have you heard of alternate realities? Possibilities that could've happened at a different time, a different place? Perhaps calling a fate for another being that should've been dead from a tale you know? Even the chance of a person's personality, life, completely different from another.
So let me tell a story just like that. A different City, the same setting, but an alternate situation. A City where fragile humans absorbed by light, becoming Abnormalities from the Fringes of The World. And the lives of each, separating from the people we knew. Together, living out their newly found souls in The Ruins.
Keep your eyes buttered till the end.
(NOTE: I've never been able to play the actual game, I have only watch the story. Some parts may be inaccurate and out of character. And please remember this is a AU, not canon.
