"I guess it wasn't his fault," Kaelix was nervously fidgeting with the rings on his finger. "I… maybe I just take too long?" he said, feeling deflated.
An echo of disagreement was erupting around him immediately. Between Freo's affirming words and Seibel cursing out, Kaelix locked eyes with Zeal just for a moment when the other man said: "I would give you as much time as you need…"
Kaelix just can't stop thinking about a comment Zeal made in passing, and soon the omega is cornered by the bartender, finding out just how serious Zeal was about taking his sweet time with him. -

Kaelix is an honor student like any other. He stays up late cramming for exams the night before and always passes with flying colors. He's cheerful, attractive, well-liked among his peers, and and even if he hasn't always been a master at "reading the room," he's picked up on enough throughout the years to adequately mask the sides of himself that are misaligned with the version of himself he wants to portray.
It goes well enough, predictably enough. It's tranquil, safe — that is, until Zeal Ginjoka comes along and shatters all of the defenses Kaelix has worked so hard to build up.
