Summary
After breaking the Star Sapphire with Saphira and witnessing Eragon vanquish Durza at a heavy price, Arya attempts to heal the boy's wounded back despite her weakened state. Not one to give up, especially where Eragon and Saphira are involved, the elf takes a risk and overdoses on emergency adrenaline stims in a desperate effort to keep Eragon from bleeding out before help arrives. It goes about as well as could be expected.
Vilks, the Varden's doctor in charge of all things weird, magical and wounded, gives Arya a reality check on her current state. No one goes through what she did unscathed, especially not in the physical sense.

Summary
Eragon finds himself in Gil'ead, and Arya is introduced to the young Dragon Rider as an attempt to break her spirit. It doesn't quite work as Durza intended.
Eragon escapes, Murtagh makes his entrance, Arya goes along for the ride on what may or may not be the most amusing hallucination she's had yet, Saphira sharpens her claws on the roof, and Brom has to deal with everyone.
The MIC rewrite/take on the escape from Gil'ead and a handful of the following chapters. It's not as silly as it sounds.

Summary
For stress relief, I decided to finally solidify all my pet peeves about this film. This proved to be unwise, as it actually made me feel much worse! It also took multiple weeks to fully complete. This is a hyper-fixation series for me and has been for over a decade.... so a healthy person would probably be normal about many of these points. Also, liking the movie doesn’t make you a bad fan, it just means you can suspend your outrage… and I cannot. If anything, I envy you @.@
Tl;dr: I will be outrageously angry about very stupid things (PS: there will be spoilers for *most* of IC, Murtagh not withstanding. And lots of swearing.)

Eragon and Murtagh have grown up together with their uncle Garrow and cousin Roran since childhood. One night, they discover two stones; one blue, one red. When out from the stones hatch a pair of dragons, the brothers are pulled into the dangerous life of rogue Dragon Riders as they are hunted by the evil King Galbatorix and his terrifying servants. Taken in by storyteller Brom, they travel for the Varden, the resistance force fighting the empire.
Eragon is barely 16, unprepared for the challenges ahead of them, and always getting into trouble. His dragon, Saphira, has her work cut out for her keeping him alive. But as their journey goes on, he finds his dreams plagued by a beautiful woman in terrible pain...a pain he must soon face himself.
Murtagh is only just a man, worried that his younger brother is not ready for a life of war, and unsuspecting of his own origins. He and his dragon Thorn have plenty of things to keep an eye out for as their situation worsens. Though Murtagh thinks he understands the world, one of Galbatorix's hunters could shake everything he thought he knew.
With the Varden just clinging on and their lives dangling by a thread, the brothers are in for the fight of their lives.
