“In where?” Colosso asked.
“His head,” Phoebe stated with some kind of conviction that made no sense in the situation. She was running headfirst into this just as blind as everyone else. Someone had to find the right answer here and she was nothing if not an overachiever. The fact that she couldn’t exactly look at her brother didn’t need to be mentioned. “The dream. Nightmare. If we can’t wake him up from out here, we can do it in there.”
“Would that work?” Chloe asked, looking between her and every other ‘adult’ in the room. Phoebe rarely disliked being in charge, but this was one of those few moments she wished she had someone to look at too. Someone who could actually tell her what she was supposed to do here.
Because would that work? She had no idea. But she couldn’t say that.

After moving to Hiddenville twins Marinette (Phoebe) and Izuku (Max) begin attending separate schools in Hiddenville, Marinette begins attending Francis Dupont High school while her twin begins attending UA high school for heroes after his parents decided it was time for him to finally grow out of her “Villain” phase.

It had been an ordinary evening in the Thunderman household. Max and Phoebe had returned from hanging out with their friends all day, Billy and Nora had been home from high school for about an hour or so doing homework, Barb was beginning dinner, Hank was watching TV, Colosso and Balfour were causing mischief across the house and Chloe was due back from the skate park at any moment.
Max sat with Phoebe, the twins quietly playing a game of cards to pass the time.
Phoebe happened to glance up at the clock and paused, despite it being her turn. "Max, what time was Chloe supposed to be home again?"
Max frowned at his cards, brown eyes barely lifting to look at his sister before returning to his hand. "I thought she said around six, why?"
"It's quarter to seven now. She was due home almost an hour ago."

Phoebe didn’t know. How could she? She was a superhero, she’d never been particularly close to any villains and she doubted they would want her at their funeral.
Her family had still insisted on doing something. On their own, just for them. That much was allowed. Phoebe and Link were there like her parents and the rest of her siblings. Whoever was left.
They were crying. It was what you were supposed to do at funerals. Phoebe didn’t shed a tear.

Summary
It came as a surprise to Max when he received a text message from his twin sister, after close to six years going without speaking much, inviting him to a party she was throwing for Chloe's twelfth birthday.
Six years ago, when Chloe had been roughly six, a villain attack had called Thunderman and Electress out of retirement-and left them dead. The Hero League had arrested the guilty party, but not before leaving five children orphans, Phoebe and Max barely eighteen.
Phoebe had been left as guardian of their three younger siblings, with Blobbin as their financial support until Phoebe could manage, not that Blobbin was ever going to stop helping out, knowing him.
Max had tried to stick it out and help his sister, but he wasn't much use when he was so full of grief. He'd ended up running off, leaving behind even Dr. Colosso, and writing a small note as the only explanation of his disappearance. He knew Phoebe was crushed, he knew her too well not to. But he couldn't stay.
Or: Max is invited to Chloe’s party and finds himself making up for the mistake he made six years ago. And rebuilding his relationship with his siblings too.
