Summary
The Champion of Ravens is special. He always has been. He is what is known as Fate Touched. He can reach out and tug on the Threads of Fate around him, and alter Fate itself. This is why he was always destined to become his Matron's Champion. But even he can only do so much when a Thread is out of his reach.
Still on the hunt for Percival de Rolo, Vox Machina have no idea that his Thread may be beyond the pull of even Vax'ildan, now.
Unknowingly and unintentionally, Percival de Rolo and Sylas Briarwood struck a bargain that wove their Threads together so completely, they can no longer be separated, except to sever them completely: to cut the Thread of life. Sylas is his Master, and Percy is Lord Briarwood's Fount, and he is Bound to him, with his very life. A part of him hates this. But so much more of him revels in the closeness of their Bond. He delights in the empathic link they share, the telepathic words they speak to each other, and comfort he finds in physical closeness. Sylas has spent the last two months wearing down his mind and spirit; this Bond has worn down his heart.
Percival de Rolo is Sylas Briarwood's White Falcon. He has his loyalty. And maybe his heart...

Summary
He ascends as quickly as his meager athleticism will allow and when he reaches the second floor landing his ears immediately twitch, catching the sound of soft music.
It’s… lovely. And Essek finds himself caught, like a fish on a lure, and drawn in towards the source.
He finds it a couple of yards down from the staircase, tucked away in a lamplit alcove; an upright piano, the top of it crowded with books, and a certain red-headed wizard at the bench, his freckled fingers dancing across the keys.
The wizards—and Beau—watch a meteor shower whilst Ruidus is at its zenith in the hills outside Zadash. Some surprises are had and wishes are made.

Summary
“You have been summoned to the Soltryce Academy, to study under the guidance of Archmage Zevran Margolis.” recited the mage, her face sour with distaste. “It is the duty of all with arcane abilities to use them to serve the glory of the Empire. You are to come with us. To Rexxentrum.”
More than eight hundred miles from Port Damali, almost a month’s travel. An entirely different universe. Any protests had been quickly stifled, tears ignored; the mage hadn’t allowed them even a minute to run upstairs and gather their things - the Empire will provide for you, they had been told. By then, the soldiers had been well-practised at extracting magically-talented children from their homes in the cleanest possible fashion, and they were swift and merciless.
And that had been it.*
In the early 800s, the Empire conquered and annexed the Menagerie Coast. Now, as the Dwendalian military machine continues to demand fresh recruits for their war in the northern wildlands, a group of young conscripts in Rexxentrum find their destinies drawn close together.

Summary
Beau begins by sighing exasperatedly, which is typically not ideal for selling a pitch, but what the fuck, right? “I wanted to ask you,” she says, carefully now, “If you would maybe be interested in working with the Cobalt Soul. In a more, uh, official capacity. Like with a salary and everything, or whatever.”
There is a silence which is somehow worse than the silence that they were sitting in before. Essek makes a small sound that must be unconscious, sort of like a death rattle. Beau didn’t know such an undignified noise was in his repertoire.

Summary
"For the fourth time this week, Essek Thelyss, former Shadowhand of the Kryn Dynasty and current wanted criminal, wakes to the feeling of arachnidian legs across his back, neck, and face..." Plagued by nightmares and compulsions, Essek fears he is losing his mind. He leaves little more than a cryptic note in his wake. "In a flash of light unseen by all but the white cat at the door, Essek vanishes from Caleb Widogast’s life."
Across the continent, five heroes are settling back into normalcy after barely escaping the sunken ruins below Ank’harel. Though they were successful in talking down the twisted monster within, the cost was great. While navigating political chaos, the Apothean heroes are approached by an old ally. Their friend begs the party to find his fugitive brother before dynasty assassins do. If they can convince Essek to turn himself into the government that calls him traitor, perhaps his life will be spared.
Struggling with cult activity, inner demons, past trauma, and conflicting points of view, the group follows the only breadcrumbs left behind, finding on each step of their journey that things are infinitely more complicated than they appear. -

Summary
The house in the garment district, tucked into Vigil’s Circle, is big and drafty and lurks among shops and warehouses that have left it behind. Standing in the living room with her back to the big picture window that looks out on the scraggly, abandoned garden, something in Yasha lights up with the warmth of Caleb’s tower. With potential, with a sense of the future, however tenuous it may be—the house in Vigil’s Circle will be Yasha and Beau’s, and they will fill the rooms with whatever they like.
(Yasha's part in water the wine. Plus a little more.) -

Summary
"Caleb has no idea what to say. Essek has left him breathless plenty of times, but this takes the cake. He wants to tell him a number of cheesy, romantic lines like you look like the universe personified, or perhaps I could believe you are the birthplace of stars, or even can I kiss you? I’d like to know what it feels like to kiss the night sky. Instead, 'You look really nice,' he says lamely."
The Cobalt Soul is holding a gala to honor Expositors, and Essek is invited.
