Gardenview.
An educational center and museum, designed for the purpose of teaching kids what's right and wrong.
It's a rather beautiful place, spacious and has kind people.
But it's not just humans that are there.
Toons are present in there, and the attention is focused on them - especially main Toons. They are creations of human hands, made to be child-friendly and to help with the growth of Gardenview, used for marketing and good impressions on parents.
Sounds pretty happy, right?
Well...One day, the people working in Gardenview had decided to create a new Toon. But not an ordinary Toon, because this time they decided to make a Toon that resembles a soldier. A person that's brave and has influence on people, could easily help guide children and even give them useful life tips.
Their name? Y/N L/N.
Ever since they were created, they were doing great. Getting actual soldier knowledge, fighting skills, how to handle a gun... It was for show-off, as always. Despite being made for marketing, the new Toon made friends with everyone. Except two Toons...
The first is Shrimpo, as usual.
But the second is Astro. Astro Novalite. He just seems to not like them... But why?

Shrimpo is a spiteful, hateful Toon. That’ll never change, and the others have (mostly) accepted that.
Shrimpo knows that he’s different in some way. Not that it matters, since he’s better than anyone else. He’s stronger than any other Toon (so he says), faster (absolutely not true) and smarter (incredibly debatable).
Sure, he may not know everything, but it doesn’t matter. He doesn’t need to when he’s so clearly better!
(The word count is a little misleading. The majority of it comes from the archived old version. I might eventually split them into different works someday, when the rewrite is further written)
(First few chapters will be introductory prologues)

Truth be told, Cosmo was not as happy and kind as he always appeared to be. There was a time when none of it was a lie, some remnants of kindness still flicker through him now and then in very real moments. Cosmo didn't mind being kind. Being kind is something that will always bring him joy, but after years of it and years of turmoil, he finds himself burnt out, almost cynical. Cosmo thinks things he would never say out loud. This is a secret he had always planned to take to the grave.

Sprout didn't know if he loved being on the show or hated it with every fiber of his body. Day in day out constant work. Filming, teaching, making appearances. Being a main character was such hard work, but so prestigious! Anyone would want to be one! It was an incredible thing to be, he should be so proud!
That's what they kept trying to tell him anyways. He didn't have a choice. It felt like they were all made for him. He didn't choose what he did, he didn't choose how he was portrayed on the show. He almost had to fight for just a few moments of his own. He could always bake though. He chose to bake. They let him bake.
