She is the one to finally break the silence, lifting her face from where it had rested between steepled hands. “You know, Caleb,” she says, “I think you were wrong.”
It takes Caleb a few moments to realize she is speaking, and then another to realize the words are meant for him. He lets his gaze lift over the top of his book. Yasha sits in profile to him, the orange glow of firelight softly illuminating pale skin and healing bruises.
“Wrong about what?”
“When we were going to Kamordah,” Yasha replies. “I couldn’t sleep, and I talked to you.”
___________________________The Mighty Nein get a full rest in the tower before the Tomb Takers arrive, and Caleb and Yasha find each other in the tower library.
A coda to their conversation in episode 92, where Yasha asked if he loved someone.-
