The idea of a huge A-Troupe reunion, like they'd had when saving the studio from Lucien, had appealed to everyone, but Michelle and Eldon had found that a lot of their 'first generation' A-Troupers wouldn't be available.
However, that didn't mean the second generation weren't.
They were all coming today and joining the current A-Troupe for a huge christmas party. The team was also performing a new dance for them, choreographed by Eldon and Anthony, of course. They hadn't actually had much time to practice it though, so today it was all hands on deck.
Daisy had found herself excited by the prospect.

Daisy hadn't always been the best duet partner, and they'd definitely had a bumpy ride on their way to Nationals, but somehow, she'd become one of the people he trusted the most on the team.
And whilst doing this duet with her, he'd gotten to know her, as well. She was really funny, and she was really smart, and she didn't have her license and she actually liked pineapple on pizza and she actually had naturally straight hair, she just liked to curl it.
And on top of all that she was also really pretty, as well.

Daisy listened to Kenzie sadly, sat on a block in the middle of the studio.
She was feeling pretty sad, and it was understandable why. The Next Step had won The Brawl and the cash prize had been in reach, but it had all been a joke. A scam. And now, they only had one day left at The Next Step before Lucien officially owned the building and would kick them all out.
However, despite all these feelings, she couldn't help but feel a small smile creep onto her face at the sight of the boy in the green trousers and top approaching her.

From a young age, she'd learned to rely on herself and nobody else. Her parents were the type to tell her to sort out a scraped knee herself, and growing up as a dancer, she'd faced a lot of those.
She was strong, and she was independent, because that's how she'd been raised. She'd never backed down from a challenge and she'd always spoken up if she didn't think something (or someone) was right.

Realistically, he knew that the possibility that something more than friendship was going on between them was quite low. By the sounds of things, Daisy was still trying to trust Heath, and Heath was trying his hardest to show Daisy he'd never betray the team again.
