“We’re in a desperate time right now… please stop, and just open the door.” He really doesn’t want to deal with Dandy.
Dandy’s expression twists.
“Looks like someone’s getting more pissed and desperate~.” This time it’s Vee, her voice dripping with mockery and laughter.
“We’re not here to waste time on you, Dancifer. Open the door.”
“You—” Before the argument can continue, the whole elevator shakes violently.
No one has ever felt shaking like this not even Dandy.“BARK! BARK!” Pebble barks.
“GUYS, WHAT’S HAPPENING?!” Shelly screams.
“EVERYONE STAY CALM!” Sprout orders.
Astro curls into his blanket, trembling.
“DANDY! WHAT DID YOU DO?!” Vee yells, panicked.

Due to Gardenview's surge in visitors, the Toon Handlers end up being overwhelmed by this. Noticing this issue, the founders thought of a brilliant idea to ease it. This solution was hiring assistants for the Toon Handlers. More or less, the proper title was ‘Junior Handler’. Lucky you for being picked and hired to be a Junior Handler for a certain strawberry Main Toon.
You recall the time you spent in Gardenview as acting Junior Handler for Sprout until the untimely closing.
Years later, something brings you back to Gardenview's empty lobby and reunites you with him.

It's been around a year since Gardenview's shutdown, and the toons have established something of a new normal. Going on runs to keep the lights on, secretly delivering food by train, cleaning up ichor spills and repairing pipes.
Looey has found a place for himself, keeping the others safe, taking the hits so others don't have to!
Sprout isn't so sure about this career path...
Or,
Looey and Sprout being stupid and falling in love. This fic acts more as my exploration of the plot, of their personalities, and of their dynamic. All of it will be somewhat of a unique story based on canon lore.
This is my first time posting a fanfic! There may be possible mischaracterization due to my headcanons, and who knows how unprofessional and goofy the writing may come across. I’m planning for it to take quite a while before they have their first kiss, so expect many chapters to come.

Ichor poured out dangerously fast. It was everywhere. In the water, on the tiles, on his lap, everywhere. Dandy felt his head getting lighter. He was losing the Ichor in his body. He felt the Ichor surround him. The Ichor from his skin becomes a tide, rising up around him like water, threatening to pull him under.
