And it cost him the one person he ever cared about at the school. He hurt the one he cared about the most. Sera. He lost control. He continually fought himself to break free from his torture.
"Things around us aren't the same as they were before!" She said. "You don't have to go on like this!"
"I don't deserve better." "It's too late! I already f*cked up!" "I'm a monster." "Nothing I do will ever make up for what I've done. Nothing I do will ever be enough."
The world didn't need a monster like him. She no longer needed either. She had other friends, friends that would take care of her better than he ever could. It was too late for him. He wasn't needed anymore and took the next step to end it all. After all, if he no longer existed, he could no longer hurt anyone, right?

My idea of what would've happened had John gotten the proper help he needed.
