Pulled from offshore, Fortuna’s brightest and most twisted may have discovered the key to pushing the limits of Pokémon evolution. Unbeknownst to Agnus and his research team, the body of the Dark Angel still resides in the depths of his metal coffin. This brings us to a very lost and very confused Vergil, waking up in the body of a defenseless Eevee. And what’s worse, he meets a child, just as lost and angry at the world as he is.
(AKA: A crackfic that had way too much thought and put into it. Vergil gets turned into an Eevee because, why not? And then DMC4 happens. Oh and there’s Dadgil. Can't forget about that.)

He can’t believe he has stooped this low. To be carried like some domestic pet, in the arms of a woman so seemingly meek. It was demeaning. Embarrassing if he was honest. Still, he does not complain at the gentleness in which she holds him, nestled in her arms, wrapped in her scarf. It feels nice to be away from prying eyes as much as he hates to admit it. He feels… safe.
