When Thorfinn Rowle first convinced Antonin Dolohov to start attending Atlanta's famous Dragon Con four years ago – packing enough liquor and snacks for a small army, of course – he never anticipated that the two of them would one day be donning their old Death Eater masks and robes just for the illicit thrill of it, making their way through the Marriott lobby as the swirling mass of muggles, amiable and clueless, guess what their costumes are supposed to be. But one woman, dressed in a salacious cosplay of her own, does recognize those robes and masks. And, as it turns out, Pansy Parkinson just happens to be the only woman, brazen and beautiful, with the power to render Antonin Dolohov exquisitely feral, somehow coaxing out the villain who, although paroled and "civilized", perhaps never really went away – along with the hidden depth of affection he once tried to pretend did not exist.
