Soon they confronted him and he told them that he’s not affected by poison, excited by this, their first conclusion is that they can kiss him without harming him.

They hated their existence, They just wanted to go to sleep and disappear, maybe get a new life with no memories of the past, the Spawn however, has a different destiny for them in mind.
Two time was never the type to kill someone, they hated killing Azure, but killing all of the survivors? That felt like too much, but the Spawn reassures them, that the reward will be worth it, even if their humanity will be a distant memory.
