A single golden ray shone on a small yellow flower, six petals. Six represents imperfection. Six is the number of weakness and sins. Six petals, one shy of seven. Seven represents perfection. This flower strove endlessly for perfection. Six petals, seven souls. Again, one petal shy of perfection. The flower lay, wilted in the ray of light, barely shining into the underground. He needed the light, else he would surely die.
Frisk visits Flowey in the underground and takes him up to see the surface much to Flowey's dismay.
So much has changed on the surface in one year, monsters are a normal part of society now.
Adjusting to the surface will be hard for Flowey but luckily Frisk and Toriel have his back.Series

A silly little AU that randomly popped into my head about Frisk experiencing horrible nightmares causing them to avoid sleeping the best they can. Frisk becomes aggravated and desperate to stay awake when everyone tells them to sleep they lose trust in them pushing their loved ones away and hurting the people they care about.
Whatever is making them experience these nightmares is trying to send a clear message. It won't be good if they get what they want.
