“There’s someone on that roof.” Rin alerts him quietly, tilting her head in the general direction, as if the person in question could hear them to begin with.
The smile hidden under Rui’s mask falters momentarily but he gulps it down. Rui can only hope it’s not the authorities this time.

i was a little skeptical when i saw the writing style but i'm SO glad i decided to read this!! the concept was intriguing from the get go (cyberpunk aus my beloved.. <3) and i really liked the virtual reality aspect of it. it was unrealistic but i couldn't care less, it was a fun read regardless :3
the ending was DEFINITELY unexpected, i feel sad about it but it was also an interesting turn of events. i'm a little confused though about some things which happened ?? but in any case, it was still interesting!!
