He felt so lost. He didn't know what to follow. Which direction was which? Does he stay or does he go? Was this right?
Toya felt as if he was standing in the middle of void, with nowhere else to see and nowhere else to go. With no one on his side, and without anything to help him get out. With only a violin and piano in front of him, waiting to be held by his hands only. Yet he turns away, refusing to face both instruments as he walks in another direction. He didn't know where to go, but all he knew was that he was not running back to where he started. He needs to get away.

"Hey, can we sing together and… maybe be singing partners? I haven't seen you here before, but your voice is just really really cool. What do you say?"
As he accepted their request, he felt the void also starting to brighten up. And so, ever since then, he hadn't felt the need to turn back around to sink back into the void that has been attached to him his whole life.

Akito knew this. Even if Arata Touno never existed, those words remained in his head. Since he was solo, since they were BAD DOGS, and still as he was in Vivid Bad Squad. Though he knew logically that was the fault of his father, his neglect and treatment of both him and Ena was detrimental. Even with that, he always blamed himself for his own shortcomings.
That's why he practiced. ‘Till his throat was bleeding, ‘till he could barely walk, see, or even be awake he kept practicing. Arata’s words had only worsened his self hatred, in less than a month it felt as if he was back to being a hated solo street artist. No matter what he did, it wasn’t enough. He wasn’t anywhere near the skill of his team, the skill needed to surpass RAD WEEKEND. And that’s his fault, he hasn’t practiced enough.
