Summary
A boulder-like heaviness filled her stomach and she gulped. With shaky steps and the rattling of the cuffs accompanying her, Enid approached the elevated wooden platform.
A hooded man wielding a wicked gleaming axe and a chopping block greeted her.
Dread still filled her but as she climbed the small steps, Enid steeled her resolve, puffing out her chest and holding her head high in view of all that gathered.
So be it.
She’d die. It didn’t matter.
All that mattered was that Wednesday was far, far away and safe.
“Kneel.”
The voice came from behind the hood, hoarse and gravelly, and it ran a shiver down Enid’s spine. Still, she did as commanded, letting the burly executioner position her head until she was staring down a small trough whose bottom was stained with dried, dark maroon blood.
As she felt the raising of the axe and the crowd volume rose to a fevered pitch, Enid wondered not for the first time just how had she gotten to this point?

ще не знаю чи я це читатиму але якщо і читатиму то пізніше бо поки тільки 2 розділи.
в минулій частині загалом все йшло майже канонічно тільки похмуріше і інше в деталях, наприклад венклери досить швидко зійшлись, В дійсно серйозно поставилася до терапії, Аддамси вчаться говорити правду і стають ближчими як родина, Тайлер є набагато більшим мудаком ніж в каноні але він також відходить на задній план бо Лорел може сама ставати гайдом через допомогу нікого іншого як Ксав'є, трохи важко читати про всю безпідставну ненавись до ізгоїв бо завжди хочеться думати що це ж 21 століття, люди мають бути розумнішими але навіть я не така наївна. Вімс жива, але під час пожежі і нападу крекстоуна загинули деякі учні і вчителі, а Енід так і не вовчилась, хз чому, загалом битва пройшла схоже просто з важчими травмами. Е їде до Аддамсів на канікули.
п.с. Гуді, до речі, теж максимально неприємна

When her new roommate and self-appointed gossip queen shows Wednesday around campus, a particular person catches her eye. They sit alone by a tree as if in their own little bubble. "Who is that?" Wednesday asked, cutting off the wolf mid-tangent. "That is Kai Meadows, I would steer clear of them". Her pleas fell on deaf ears as Wednesday Addams never listened to anyone.
This book will carry on as the show does, Kai is involved in the plot points, but not directly. They are there and participate. This follows the episode's plot points and such. Later on, there will be some more mature scenes, nothing too crazy.
