Summary
A small change in the history of Westeros has dramatic implications. Due to Varys' meddling, Sansa finds out about the plot to kill Joffrey and consequently, at least for a while, he is allowed to live. After learning that she has had little control over the role she had played in the game of thrones so far, Sansa has to teach herself to decide her own fate for once, impacting the rest of the world around her.
Bit of a fix-it fic for the series, combining it with the books.

The world consists of two things: Light and Objects. Light passes through everything except Objects. Objects block, bend, and filter the Light and in their wake create shadows. But shadows don't really exist. They are tricks—illusions of the Light and Object. In the same manner, I was born as the object Sansa Stark—a girl of noble birth and daughter of the Lord Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Stark of Winterfell—but that wasn't who I've always been. I had another name, another body, another life—a life that is so long gone that it feels like a dream, but I still remember. I've seen into the void of death. I've been to the angles of space outside of time. I've spoken to that thing—that shadow—which exists there and it showed me the truth. I am a shadow. We are all shadows. But shadows like the angles of space don't exist which means that I don't exist. It means that no one exists. Life is nothing more or less than what you choose to see.
This is a retelling of Sansa's story from a wholly different perspective.

An interpretation of Jaime and Brienne’s relationship, as portrayed in the TV series Game of Thrones. This covers their story throughout Season 8, interspersed with missing moments and flashbacks of their time together from Seasons 2-7. Although I wasn’t exactly a fan of the way the writers chose to end their story (let’s be honest, who was??), I’ve stuck to canon and have added a few scenes that I'd like to imagine happened off-screen and put a positive/bittersweet spin on it so fans can look back on show-Braime without much bitterness or anger (that’s the aim, anyway). Hope you enjoy! Any feedback is very much appreciated 😊

This work serves as an alternate ending to the TV series Game of Thrones. It specifically focuses on the events that occur at the end of the final episode (Season 8, Episode 6). This is my first fanfiction work and my story-telling skills are not all that great but my intent was to provide an ending that I believe would have left the audience more satisfied while also doing a better job at tying some of the plots and twists that were presented throughout the series that many complained weren't acknowledged in the actual ending.
