Summary
Recke Link, der allseits beliebte und respektierte Regent des Königreiches Hyrule, hatte ein Problem. Genauer gesagt, hatte er acht Probleme, die allesamt in den Verlorenen Wäldern umherwanderten und dabei völlig fehl am Platz wirkten. Hätte er gewusst, dass eine weitere Reise auf ihn wartete, hätte er sich darauf vorbereitet. Nun musste er, als Geist unter den Lebenden, das Königreich verlassen, das er so lange wiederbelebt und neu aufgebaut hatte, um sich zusammen mit acht Inkarnationen des Heldengeistes auf eine Reise zu begeben. Zum Glück würde er diese Reise nicht alleine antreten.

Summary
Die Verheerung Ganon war sehr viel stärker als erwartet. Link und Zelda ließen ihr Leben, um die Bestie in den Ruinen von Schloss Hyrule zu versiegeln. Als Link durch Miphas Gebet wiederbelebt wurde, ergab sich eine unerwartete Komplikation, wodurch Link zu einem Geist wurde. Der Held Hyrules starb also nicht, sondern bleibt bis auf Weiteres in zwei Welten gefangen: mit einem Bein im Reich der Lebenden, mit dem andren im Reich der Toten. Anscheinend muss er herausfinden, welche Aufgaben die Göttin Hylia noch für ihn vorgesehen hat. Zum Glück stehen ihm die edlen Recken der Alten Zeit bei, um aus den Ruinen Hyrules ein neues Königreich aufzubauen.

Summary
Champion Link, the beloved and respected leader of Hyrule Kingdom, had a problem. Technically, he had eight problems, all of which were wandering around the Lost Woods looking very out of place. Had he known that another Journey would come looking for him, he would've made preparations. Now, a ghost among the living, he had to leave the kingdom he spent so long revitalizing and travel with eight incarnations of the Hero's spirit. Luckily, he wouldn't be going alone.

When he comes to, he’s kneeling atop the Calamity’s head, with the Master Sword still embedded into its skull as it twitches and smokes on the ground. The golden rays are gone, replaced only by dark, stinking mist and dust drifting through the air.
The Calamity is still alive.
It must remain sealed.
He cannot let go of the Master Sword.

Deep within the belly of Hyrule Castle’s ruin, as the Princess dredges up the last wisps of her fraying power and siphons it into her Knight’s body, she prays to Hylia to send someone to save them all.
Deep within the wet, tangling forests of Faron, a group of eight–soon to be nine–heeds her call.
Link is trapped within Hyrule Castle, keeping the Calamity sealed by the skin of his teeth as he casts his soul across the province in search of someone, anyone who can help.
The Chain lands in a new Hyrule and finds themselves chasing behind the ghosts of a missing hero's footsteps--all the while there’s a strange, blond-haired boy following them, who never speaks, and who always seems to turn his face in the direction of the empty ruins of Hyrule Castle.

His time with the rest of the chain has been nothing but enjoyable. It's like a big, chaotic family. Despite his joy in being included in such a wonderful group, a deep, lingering sadness stays rooted in his chest, burrowed deep in his heart. The knowledge of what's bound to come stays in the back of his mind, no matter what he does. It gets harder and harder to keep smiling and reassuring everyone he's fine, especially since with each passing day that becomes more and more of a lie. He doesn't know how to tell them, how they'll react, if they'll treat him differently...

Summary
Calamity Ganon was stronger than anyone had anticipated. Link and Zelda gave their lives to seal him away in the ruins of Hyrule Castle. But an unexpected complication with Mipha's Grace has given Link a corporeal ghost form. Now stuck amongst the living, with one foot in the realm of the dead, he must struggle to figure out what Hylia needs him to do. Luckily, the Champions of Old are there to help him as he strives to restore the kingdom.
The Second Book of this series will be Linked Universe. This story can be considered a Breath of the Wild fic.
