Summary
In the world of Terraria, stuff is constantly trying to kill you, whether that be a giant floating eye, a particularly persistent pest of a Queen Bee...Golem (for real though no one gives him the recognition he deserves), and many others, but what if that thing trying to kill you was something so much worse?
Meet Elliot, a young boy who aspires to be a warrior like his father, who perished in the War of the Dryads. However, his plans are cut short when the Lunatic Cultist rises to power and plunges the world into darkness, as well as evoking a strange, infectious virus-like substance called the Corruption with one goal: to infect everything in its path. Elliot teams up with his father's best friend, Patrick, who had to watch Elliot's father take a direct blow to the heart from Cthulhu, to defeat the Lunatic Cultist and stop his plan of reviving Cthulhu. As time runs out and the four Celestial Pillars of the Moon begin to rise from the ground to make way for Cthulhu's return, Elliot and Patrick must take drastic measures and harness the power of every Terrarian to finally end the Lunatic Cultist's tyranny.

It's a fanfic about Terraria's Calamity Mod and what happens after SCal is defeated and is invited to live in the town. It is loosely based on one of my first playthroughs.
This is based on the latest Calamity update (as of writing), and small bits of Inferum. Addendum: mostly based on the current Calamity update. Some things (mostly lore) can be rewritten as I see fit.
Also screw the Murasama change, that's gonna make the current melee scenes not make as much practical sense.Romance maybe? I'll see when I get there, but I'm not good with romance so probably not.
