Summary
And yet someone here understood what he was talking about - Horyang felt the attentive gaze of golden eyes that looked directly into his soul. He saw the helpless shudder of other people's shoulders, the cramp of his legs under the warm blanket - they had all learned to see when Viole was in pain - and he remembered their first meeting, as something else, even more evil and terrible, snapped at his demon. He hadn't seen it again in all these years, but he couldn't forget it - you never forget it.
