The broadcast is predicting a typhoon making its way near Japan’s coast, when Happi’s cell phone vibrates in his pocket. It’s the usual weekend afternoon news, it drowns on and on and lacks anything interesting. Not that their weekday news are any better but it’s more stimulating than what they are watching now. Not that it matters either because Happi and Choromatsu find themselves in a comfortable enough position, sprawled out on the couch, that they don’t need the news to distract them from their rather boring and lazy afternoon.

Osomatsu hums to himself, looks up then back down at his foot to make sure he has a strong foundation before jumping to grab onto a tube that’s sticking out, “I don’t know. Anything can be useful here,” he answers easily.
Karamatsu decides against arguing with the eldest, opts for a roll of eyes—because, really, he should have known better by now—and makes a rude comment.

The woman’s expression shifts from uncertainty to dry. Totoko would have laughed at the act had they not being shot at by the woman, “this is Totoko.”
“I understand what you are saying,” is the woman’s flat reply, clear eyes becoming a shade darker in her annoyance, “no need to speak as if I were stupid.”

That’s all the warning Osomatsu gets before he’s whacked upside the head. He yelps, turns around too fast to face his assailant, steps on the frills of his long skirt—ripping the decorative piece in the process—and trips into the water.
“Everyone is looking for your damn face everywhere and,” a finger is pointed accusingly his way, “you’re wearing ruffles!”
