To admit jealousy was to admit failure, impossible for a man of his stature — he was the damned Lord Inquisitor of the Koronus Expanse — yet he found himself only able to watch, learn, and stew in his turmoil.

Heinrix manages to convince Diana to take a vacation. She's not too happy at first, but soon changes her mind when the man that she had sworn herself to goes out of his way to make her time exciting and enjoyable.
“Let’s make you proper.” He says, unaware of her inner thoughts and Diana smiles, then steals one last, short kiss from his lips and finally slips from his lap.
Yet her legs don’t want to hold her up quite yet and Heinrix rushes to help her, jumping to his feet and holding her up by the waist. “That good?” He asks and Diana chuckles, taking a moment to recover, then begins to buckle her pants.
“Don’t let it get to your head.”
“Already has.”

Summary
