She could feel his heat radiating from his chest, on to her back as he hovered over her. Determined to show no fear in the face of his dominance, she adjusted her shaky limbs as his claws came around either side of her body "Little lamb, your fear smells sweet" A cloud of smoke circled her neck and she looked over her shoulder at his ardent face as he continued to speak. "You should be afraid"
Not quite human, and lost in the vast sexual strangeness between them, she continued to struggle, even as she was certain he had already won.
Love rises, though all there be is ashes-

Thorin is a bartender and spots a handsome man with golden curls and blue eyes sitting at the bar barely 4 feet away from him. Unfortunately, the man has a date sitting next to him. A striking man with dark, curly hair and pale blue eyes. He shrugs away the feeling of disappointment and continues to work. About an hour later, when the man with dark hair had left, presumably to go to the bathroom, Thorin asks if the gold-haired man wants anything to drink, he says,
“Ah… An angel shot, please?”
(If you don't know, at a bar someone can order an angel shot to let the bartender know they feel unsafe. There are three different ways to order an angel shot.
Neat - Customer wants to be escorted to their car.
With Ice - The customer wants the bartender to discreetly arrange for a cab.
With Lime - The customer feels they are in immediate danger and want the police called.)

Bilbo Baggins and the Company have arrived at Smaug's lair and it is up to the burglar to check if the dragon was there asleep in the treasure room. But as Bilbo tumbled into the treasure room, Smaug was waiting in disguise as a human. Before the poor hobbit knew what he had done, he had told the dragon of the Company's plans only to find out who the human truly was. Thinking quickly, Bilbo told Smaug that he was Thorin's treasure and that if he took him, it would discourage the dwarf king and force him to leave the mountain. Now Bilbo has been claimed by the dragon as his pet and has to figure out how to free himself...without falling for the charms of the dragon.

Summary
A reincarnation/retelling story that takes place around the late 1800s because Thorin and Bilbo deserve another shot at this.
It's a sequel of sorts to Becoming Thorin of Bag End, but can be read as a stand alone story as well.
Since it's a retelling of The Hobbit, it includes some of my favorite quotes and plot points, sometimes paraphrased, and it borrows themes from other books/fantasy universes as well... hopefully none of it is particularly offending to anyone in any fandom, I’ve done my best to keep things as authentic as I can, considering it’s ultimately a different adventure in a different time… :)
So... here goes as Thorin and Bilbo figure out their love lives, with (hopefully) considerably more success the second time around

Summary
Smaug was not killed by bards arrow. But he was gravely injured. His body forces him to turn human so he can heal. as he walks farther away from the mountains he see the the thief on the ground he starts to walk away only to think that's he's making the biggest mistake of his life, so he turns back around and uses what magic he has left and heals him. only he notices that after that that's Bilbo is injured he's missing half his left leg and his right hand is mangled and the cut across his his face almost took his eye he questions why he felt compelled to heal the thief who helped take his home. But he did so he walks over to a tree because he's tired and rests what smaug didn't know is that healing the thief would send him on the adventure of a life time filling his life with love heartbreak and laughter showing him that not all that glitters is gold.
most of this story will be third person and from smaugs point of view
