Druig had loved April Fools’ Day on its very first day of existence. If there was one human tradition he liked, it was this one.
He had always enjoyed making fun of his comrades, in different ways, and from time to time, every few years, he was taking one of them as his victim, using this day as an excuse.
Druig did pranked every of his co-Eternals, but he wasn’t quite as mean with the girls than with the boys, but it was their own fault for being such insufferable pricks, really.
The most insufferable of them all was definitely Ikaris. Always so high and mighty, always blabbering about their mission and Arishem. Druig couldn’t stand it. He couldn’t stand him.

It seems that Druig can stand Ikaris after all.

Out of the blue, his ex teammates show up to his village, but they have shown up at the wrong time as Druig is about to go into his heat. Which leads a certain Alpha to confess his love for Druig. Druig was quite content to endure the way that the other Eternals mocked his care for humanity. However, when Ikaris and Sprite got praised and rewarded for helping to defeat Arishem, even though they were the ones who opposed humanity the most, it became too unjust for him to bear.
With Ikaris having flown to a distant world, only having pretended to die in solar fire, and with Sprite living her life as an everyday schoolgirl, Druig decided to take matters into his own hands. He would force Ikaris and Sprite to enact the physical side of the relationship Sprite always desired, subtly controlling them the entire time. Only in this way, could he achieve true fairness.

That causes Mahd Wy'ry.
As a result, on Earth most Eternals will have déjà vu, but Ikaris and Druig will share an additional symptom, which could push them away from each other or bring them closer as in the past.
