In the meantime, Alola faces it's most dire trials yet, as legends warn of a golden-skinned being, who can absorb all the light of a world, before putting an end to them. Acerola, meanwhile, seems to have a connection to this mysterious force somehow, to Hala's surprise. Will any of them be able to stop the premonitions that Acerola fortells?
As a direct follow-up to my previous Alola-based story (The Great Divide! Selene's Alola Adventure!!), this story does deal with events that took place in that story specifically, but overall, is an Ultra Moon journey fic with many liberties being taken to the plot, due to a number of characters being absent due to the previous story in the series. Many events have direct ties to the previous story, so reading that one first is highly encouraged.

Yes, I wrote Ilima and a few other characters pretty politically, for a bit of fun. Apologies those who may not get some of the references and digs contained within, but be assured, there is an equal amount of mudslinging to both sides of the political spectrum within. Nothing goes below the belt over the common arguments that both candidates have gotten before and since then. If you lived in the US around the time Gen 7 came out, this is literally the environment you lived in, if you knew anyone who even remotely had a political opinion. Regardless, this is a Moon-based journey fic, albeit with many added events and drama.
Yes, the story kinda ditches the whole political undertone thing later, but I don't know how I could write the first part without them, and have it still be entertaining, but just know that once Lusamine is introduced, things become way less political, and much more graphic.

(Although a sequel series to Paris and London: Episode X and Y, aside from a few plot points, you can probably start reading this on it's own terms, like Dragon Ball is to Dragon Ball Z, though I wouldn't really recommend that, as this story may well end up being even longer than that one when everything's been finished...)
